C.I.E.H. (Internationally Accredited) Courses

The Chartered Institute of Environmental Health are currently undergoing a restructuring process regarding their courses. This should be completed in or around March 2017. Therefore OSH literacy has suspended all CIEH courses until further notice. However, we do offer equivalent courses through the Highfield Awarding body for compliance (HABC), which is the largest provider of compliant vocational courses in the UK and Middle-East. The cost of courses and services are negotiable to insure the best cost and service to you. All monies raised through private training goes towards helping OSH literacy achieve its aims and to provide free-training for vulnerable and at risk persons. 

– Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH):

• Level 1 courses are approximately’ 1/2 day
• Level 2 courses are approximately 1 day
• Level 3 courses are approximately  3 days

– Food Safety:

• Level 1 Award in Induction to Food Safety for Retail
• Level 1 Award in Induction to Food Safety for Manufacturing
• Level 1 Award in Food Safety Awareness in Catering
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Retail
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Logistics
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering Refresher
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Manufacturing Refresher
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Retail Refresher
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Logistics Refresher
• Level 2 Award in HACCP based Food Safety Systems in Manufacturing
• Level 2 Award in Principles of HACCP

– Health & Safety

• Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
• Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace
• Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace  (refresher)
• Level 3 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace Essential internationally recognised OSH qualifications.

– Fire Safety:

•  Level 1 Award in Fire Safety Awareness
• Level 2 Award in Fire Safety Principles
• Level 3 Award in Fire Safety, Risk Assessment and Control

We also offer bespoke Fire Marshal and Fire warden training – focusing on prevention and evacuation communication skills in multi-lingual settings.

– First Aid:

• Level 2 Award in First Aid at work
• Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
• Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (Requalification)

All courses also have a large element of communication skills development, especially with regards to clearly and calmly communicating and reporting with casualties, emergency services and other stakeholders within a multi-lingual setting.

– Teacher/trainer training:

• Level 3 Award in Education and Training
• Level 3 Award in Training – principles and practice

The above are the new internationally recognised and minimum requirements to teach and train adults. With OSH Literacy.org there is obviously great emphasis put onto training trainers to devise, develop, deliver and assess programmes of study which are accessible and achievable to all.

Therefore we charge a competitive rate for our courses and services. Money raised goes towards funding OSH Literacy projects in developing countries.
